A Liability only (WA) car insurance is mandatory in the Netherlands for all motor vehicles. Everyone who owns a motorized vehicle must have at least a Liability only insurance. The Liability only (WA) car insurance covers all damage caused to others with your car.
The most commonly chosen coverage for cars over 10 years old is the Liability only (WA) car insurance. Aon offers an affordable WA insurance for you. With a Liability only insurance, damage to your own car is not covered, for this you need an All Risk (WA + Uitgebreid Casco) car insurance.

Assistance after breakdown
You are insured for breakdown assistance both in the Netherlands and abroad. This way you are insured for roadside assistance, transport to the garage and the storage of your car. You are also entitled to replacement transport and transport to a place in the Netherlands for the car and passengers will be arranged. A normal repair is not covered by roadside assistance.

The Liability + Limited Risks (WA Beperkt Casco) car insurance offers, in addition to the Liability only (WA) also coverage in case of damage to your car due to fire, theft, attempted theft, stray animals and storm. We recommend this coverage for cars from 5 to 10 years old.
All Risk coverage
The All Risk (WA + Uitgebreid Casco) car insurance is the most comprehensive car insurance available. With the All Risk car insurance you are not only covered for damage to others, but almost all damage is covered. We recommend this coverage for cars younger than 5 years.
